THE SWIMMING CLUB:

Apparently the most interesting club in Kyasanku Hill College is the Swimming Club.
By: Kuteesa Marvis

Here student members get the opportunity to go out on Saturday for swimming lessons at the Makerere University swimming pool.

It is not all about having fun in water but also students get to interact with other students from various schools and in the long run the whole study is alot of fun you just cannot afford to miss. Swimming is very vital to ones health as it relaxes the mind and the body.

Swimming helps one to keep fit and to those thinking of cutting some weight, do go for it because it is the best measure.
After a whole afternoon fo fun in water, students are given time to relax and chat abit at pool. And at about 5.30pm we set off for school.

I want to thank the club patrons, miss Nansukusa Cathy and Mr. Kyasanku Charles, for the work they are doing. We really appreciate. Thanks also to the school Administration that ensures that students go out for such sports. May the lord bless you.

THOUGHTS OF GREAT THINKERS

By: Kirwana Joseph S.5

A minute of silence is some times the most articulate speech one can give.
People generally quarrel because they cannot argue
Talking without sense is like shooting without bullets
A great talker has alot to hide
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is a fool, but he who knows not and knows that he knows not is wise.
Men are as old as they feel and women are as ol as they look
A man cannot refuse to be asked but can refuse to answer what he is asked.

ALWAYS BE SMART

By: Lukenge J.B. S.5

Washing clothes, taking a shower, combining and treaming good hair styles, dressing expensively, doesnot fully define smartness.' One can be smart when he, -Does what is right, at the Wright time and at the right place. -Respect himself. -Accepts defeat and seeks for advice -Keeps busy, self controlled and keeps his mind on future goals -Shares the little he knows with friends.
